1. Who We Are and What This Site Does
Commercial Pilots Training ("we," "us"), a service of AAERO, operates commercialpilotstraining.com, an informational portal about pilot careers and a matching service that connects prospective students with flight schools, financing options, and scholarship programs. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you disagree with them, the honest move is to close the tab.
2. Information, Not Instruction
Everything published here is general career information. It is not flight instruction, not legal advice, not financial advice, and not a substitute for the current federal aviation regulations. Regulations change, and the FAA's own publications control every time our summary and their rulebook differ. Confirm hour requirements, medical standards, and eligibility with the FAA or a certificated flight instructor before making decisions that cost money.
3. No Outcome Guarantees
We describe an industry with strong structural demand, and we stand by that description. We do not and cannot guarantee that any person will obtain a certificate, pass a checkride, receive a scholarship, secure financing, or be hired by any operator. Aviation careers depend on individual performance, medical qualification, economic cycles, and hiring decisions made by third parties we don't control.
4. The Matching Service
Submitting our form authorizes us to contact you about your inquiry and to share your inquiry with schools or programs you've expressed interest in, as described in our Privacy Policy. Flight schools and lenders are independent businesses; we are not a party to any contract you sign with them, and your agreements with them are yours. Vet every school personally, tour the facility, and read every contract before paying.
5. Acceptable Use
Don't submit false information through our forms, scrape the site with automated tools that degrade it, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it to send spam. We reserve the right to block traffic and discard submissions that behave this way.
6. Intellectual Property
The content, design, and branding on this site belong to us or our licensors. Photography includes licensed stock imagery. You may quote brief excerpts with a link back; wholesale republication requires written permission. The Commercial Pilots Training name and wing mark may not be used to imply endorsement.
7. Third-Party Links
We link to outside resources, including the FAA, scholarship organizations, and airline cadet programs, because they're useful, not because we control them. Their content and their policies are theirs.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use this site, which is zero.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which AAERO operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before anyone files anything, write to us; nearly every problem we've ever had was solved with one email.
